In summary, there are two dinghy handicap classes in club racing events:

Class T (Fast Handicap, PY < 1102) for boats like Lasers, Radials, Laser Vagos.
Class R (Slow Handicap, PY > 1101) for boats like Picos, Optimists, Toppers, Mirrors.

The dinghy class has enjoyed very rapid growth over the last few years and we always welcome new sailors in either class.
