JST Courses & Events

Courses are provided for novices and upwards, aged 8 plus.  Children will be working towards their RYA Stages 1 to 4, sailing in Hartley 10, Laser Pico or Hartley 12.2 dinghies provided by the Club. 

Private tuition is also available with our resident Chief Instructor, Matt Angell.  He is available for coaching in Club boats, or your own, and can teach from beginners to sailing with spinnakers, seamanship skills and day sailing.

November 1st 2025 and then weekly until April 11th 2026 (24 sessions)

Saturday coaching in the mornings plus racing in the afternoons

5th September to 31st  October (9 weeks)

£165 for each sailor and each class of boats


Junior sailing for children who live locally 

Spring 19th April to 5th July (10 weeks)  £70

Autumn 6th September to 1st November (9 weeks)  £70

 

The morning sessions are primarily for sailors doing RYA Stages 1 an 2.

The afternoon sessions ae intended for those doing Stages 3 and 4.
