Advanced Day Sailing/Seamanship

Passage planning and decision making for small boat cruising, how to handle a boat in all circumstances and solve problems afloat. This is a MORNING course held on 29th May- 2nd June, 17th-21st July, 24th-28th July and 31st July to 4th August.

This course is suitable for those with RYA Stage 4 and are competent in boat handling and have had recent time on the water.

Advanced Day sailing

Preparing and planning for a day cruise, pilotage and decision making including adverse conditions

Seamanship

Launching and recovering the boat in different circumstances, stopping, reducing sail, recovering a man overboard, anchoring
