Saturday Afternoon Dinghy Racing 

Although the clubs mainstream programme of racing has not yet begun, Saturday afternoon dinghy racing has been taking place since mid-March, and the second (Spring) series will start on Saturday 2 May. Although it is centred around the clubs JST programme, ALL AGES ARE WELCOME (for instance a 72-year-old former commodore of the club has been a regular competitor!).

Each week the format is as follows:

• 3 races of around 30 minutes each
• windward starts and then triangles, sausages or a combination of the two
• First start 1400

• If you take part in our own boat you must fill in a club racing entry form (but there is no entry fee) which you can find (along with the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions) here www.stmawessailing.co.uk/sailing/racing
